Well, this self portrait represents an interesting and sometimes unseen side of me. It is my nerd side. The side of me that enjoys sci-fi and fantasy books, movies, stories, etc… I would much rather read a good bit of fiction than reality anytime! Luckily for me, this guy I met in college was into the same thing. Of course, there were other things we connected over, but the love of all things superhero was a special one. A couple of weeks ago it was exactly nine years since I told him I would be his girl….

Comic me…my alter-ego. Go ahead and laugh, it’s okay. I laugh at myself. And now we have infected our children with the Superhero bug…today my son chose an Avengers t-shirt at the store and couldn’t wait to put it on when he got home. He also tells the best stories…we are just full of imagination at our house. Nothing wrong with family of creative nerds, right? 😉
