Photography Projects

To me, there is nothing quite like framing a photograph. Looking through the viewfinder and placing the subject and background in an aesthetically pleasing manner is an amazing thing. Catching that once in a lifetime moment – that split second that will never happen again – is breathtaking. There is nothing like the rush of knowing you have captured pure beauty for everyone else to see.

My love of photography began at an early age. I would take my mom’s old film Canon and shoot nature, people, and pets in my backyard. Eventually, I began toting a camera with me everywhere and the rest is history. I have taken some classes, shot a few weddings, family portraits, individual portraits, wildlife, architecture and people around the world.

Now that I am a mom, my subjects have changed and so has the time I am able to spend with my camera. My photographer hat gets put to the side most of the time, because I now have so many hats to wear. That is partially why I created this blog – to force myself into creativity once again. This page is meant to house my photography projects and musings. Hopefully they will help to inspire….
