Little Readers

My kids and I make weekly trips to our local library, Williamsburg Regional Library. It is such a wonderful, kid-friendly place where my kids love to explore the rows of books, movies, giant foam blocks, puzzles, toys and rocking chairs.

They look forward to helping return the books they have already read and discovering some new ones, and some old favorites to take home again. They even get to help scan the books for check out.

Then when they get home, they are always trying out new ways of reading. Haha… Here they decided to empty out the book boxes and use them as reading boxes instead. I am so grateful that we are a family of readers!

I know everything is going digital…technology, technology, technology…but get out there and experience your local library, you won’t be sorry! There is just something special about the sights, smells, and the quiet of walking the rows of written words…
